Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD – Ace Electronics Defense Systems, LLC was awarded a three year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for Dismounted Counter, Radio-Controlled, Improvised Explosive Device (RCIED), Electronic Warfare (CREW) system spares for the THOR III and Baldr Dismounted Counter RCIED systems.

Delivery orders will be on a Firm Fixed Price basis, where Ace will provide required spares/hardware and transit cases. This contract has a ceiling of $900,000.

THOR III is a wearable Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (RCIED) jammer that has been designed to counter an array of frequency diverse threats. The system is an expandable, active and reactive, scanning-receiver-based jammer with multiple jamming signal sources that allow it to counter multiple simultaneous threats. Baldr is a lightweight, Counter RCIED Electronic Warfare (CREW) system designed for an individual Warfighter to have the capability of increase survivability against RCIEDs. The spares to be procured are the High, Medium, and Low Band Communications Intelligence (COMINT) systems Transmitters, Receivers, Amplifiers, Antennas, Circuit Card Assemblies, (CCAs), and Signal Processors.
