Job Title: Program Analyst

Reports To: Program Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, and forward-thinking Program Analyst to support our program management office in planning, organizing, and executing various projects. The ideal candidate will organize, maintain and analyze project data, update project timelines and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects meet cost, schedule and performance goals.

Responsibilities:

Project Data Management & Analysis: Capture, organize, update and provide summary analysis of project data including but not limited to: Government RFQ information, supply-chain data, product information and cost, schedule and quality data.
Review of Technical Documentation and RFQ Packages: Review and transfer technical Bills of Material from customer furnished documents into excel templates. Review, summarize, sort/filter and report on key data fields provided in Government furnished, excel based RFQ files.
Scheduling and Timelines: Update Excel and MS Project based schedules/timelines. Monitor progress against assigned project tasks or workstreams.
Documentation and Reporting: Generate and maintain meeting minutes and action item logs. Update excel and power-point based trackers and dashboards. Prepare status reports, technical memos and other customer facing documents.
Communication: Act as a central point of contact for assigned vendors, understanding, documenting, summarizing and parsing critical information between internal and external stakeholders.
Task Management: Assist in tracking and coordinating tasks, ensuring all team members are on schedule to meet project deadlines.
Risk Management: Help identify potential risks or issues and escalate them to the program manager when necessary.
Meeting Coordination: Facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas, coordinating schedules and distributing meeting minutes and action items.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and pilot new processes with support from program managers and executive leadership.
• Proven experience as a project/program analyst or project/program coordinator.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with an attention to detail.
• Strong written communication skills to ensure critical project and technical information is accurately captured and transmitted.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with experience capturing, formatting and filtering data. Ability to create calculated values in excel using formulas (i.e. countif, sumif, Vlookup, Data Validation, Conditional Formatting If/then etc…). Ability to create pivot tables to draw insights.
• Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint skills for creating dashboards and updating project status decks.
• Solid critical thinking abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or performing a majority of the required functions.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience or Education in an Engineering or Technical Discipline.
• Direct experience working for Defense Contractor.
• General understanding of US government acquisition and procurement process.
• Ability to identify contractual quality requirements using a clear understanding of contractual documents, including but not limited to MIL-STD documentation, packaging requirements.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical data packages.
• Experience working in a manufacturing operation.
