APG, Maryland, September 1, 2021— ACE Electronics Defense Systems LLC, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland (HC1084-20-D-0005), was awarded a blanket purchase agreement with the NOAA and Department of Commerce. The contract ceiling is approximately $7M. The place of performance will be at the contractor’s facility until the installations kits are delivered to the government at the Red River Army Depot. The period of performance is a three-year base with seven one-year options. The period of performance for the base period is April 15, 2020, through April 14, 2023; if all options are exercised, the contract performance will end April 14, 2030. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, is the contracting activity (HC1084-20-D-0005).
The Government intends to establish multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) on a Firm Fixed Price basis in accordance with the procedures of FAR Parts 12 (Commercial Items) and 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). The Government reserves the right to limit the number of BPA awards issued based on the number of quotes received. Ace Electronics is to provide the National Logistics Support Center (NLSC) with various cable assemblies. The period of performance will be from the date of award through five (5) years. Individual purchased made under this BPA shall not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold (or $7 million for commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 13.5.) Any warranted Contracting Officer within the Eastern Acquisition Division (EAD) from the Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO) of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA, Department of Commerce (DOC) is authorized to purchase under this BPA.
